the omnivore’s 100

I saw this and was intrigued. I am very curious about what others have tried, as well. I'm not going to tag anyone specifically, but if you read this blog, please participate and leave a comment so I can read your list!

Here’s what you do:
1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating. (I just put no in front of these because I can't figure out how to cross them out)
4) Optional extra: Post a comment at www.verygoodtaste.co.uk linking to your results.

1. Venison - but NEVER AGAIN. I've eaten several game animals that I would never consider eating of my own volition, thanks to my brother-in-law (oryx, anyone?)

4. Steak tartare

100. Snake

I'll try anything once. Other things I've already tried not on the list:
kimchi, octopus, cuy (guinea pig), lychee, mochi cake, poi
Of course, I didn't say I liked all of them. I actually liked the first three items listed, didn't really like the last three items.
We went to an Asian buffet last week and my son Benson got an oyster and a baby octopus to try. REALLY didn't like the oyster but thought the baby octopus was fine. He'll try pretty much anything, which makes cooking so very easy.
Jack, on the other hand, is barely branching out from his previous food requirement: that everything be a shade of white or beige. White rice, white bread, bananas, cottage cheese.
Oh, and Goldfish crackers, because I haven't met a kid yet who wouldn't eat those.
