Taking action

Please, please, PLEASE let this save my garden. The overnight low is supposed to be either 42, 43 or 40, depending on where you look. Tomorrow night is supposed to be cold as well, so I think this cover is just going to stay on. It was about 49 when we put it on, so I hope there's enough residual heat in the soil to keep it warm inside.
Anyone know how hardy corn and peas are? I'm not sure we can cover these in a way that won't blow off in the wind.
